Week in Review:
Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
I am so grateful to you all for helping to make these first three weeks of school such a success. It has been wonderful to walk our hallways and see our students working with their teachers to learn and grow as young scholars and children of God. It is often difficult in the first weeks of school to transition from summer vacation back to the school year. However, our students and their teachers have been working hard to make that transition smooth and the learning productive. Teachers have been creative in providing a variety of learning experiences and using our whole campus as a classroom to allow our students to get outside, enjoy the sun, and breathe some fresh air. As you are taking some time away this weekend, please take time to talk to your children about their school experience so far and ask them about ways in which you as parents, and we as a school can help them in their journey of learning and faith. Please be sure to read the entire newsletter below because it is filled with lots of important information. Have a great weekend, and God bless you all!
Need to Know:
- Interested in being a Volunteer:
Next week, we will start having volunteers come to our school. We are currently looking for volunteers for morning recess, lunch coverage, and lunch recess. All in-school volunteers must be approved by and scheduled through Mrs. Campanella. If you are interested in signing up to be a volunteer, please email Mrs. Campanella. - School Photos:

Wisdom from Our Young Scholars:
- In the cafeteria, I was talking to a third grader as he was getting ready to go out to recess. He looked at me and said, “Hey Mr. Olmes, I like the shine!” as he pointed to my bald head. I had to start laughing and said, “THANKS!” I guess a compliment is a compliment. HA!
