Week in Review:
Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
It has been another great week here at school. Not only did we finish out the first grading quarter, but we saw lots of fun and engaging activities taking place at school. At our school Mass, we had the pleasure to recognize our school’s Christian Leaders. These students were recognized for being shining examples of our Schoolwide Learning Expectations (SLEs): Learner, Friend, Disciple, Steward. Teachers shared stories of how these students were excellent examples of what it means to be a part of this amazing community. We also celebrated many of our students with our school’s quarterly birthday party. On Friday, we were treated to see many of our students sharing in their celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month by seeing their informative and interesting presentations about famous Latino and Hispanic individuals as well as presentations on the various Hispanic and Latin countries.
In this week ahead, we start a new quarter filled with lots of new opportunities to learn and grow as learners, friends, disciples, and stewards. Let us all seize these opportunities to better ourselves and help those around us grow and improve in our lives. Let us all ask for the intercession of the saints and our Blessed Mother to help us in the days and weeks ahead. The power of prayer is real and brings us closer to our Lord each day. Enjoy your weekend with family and friends, and I will see you at Prayer Square.
See you all at Prayer Square!

Wisdom from Our Young Scholars:
- When presenting his project about Nicaragua, a 5th-grade boy told Mr. Olmes, “Nicaragua is home to the only freshwater sharks!” Wow, it is so cool that our students are learning so much about our world!
