Week in Review:
Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Time is flying, and I am starting to smell Pumpkin and Shoo-fly Pie in the air. My favorite holiday is just around the corner and things are going great here at school. Your students have been engaged in some pretty cool activities. From digging into pumpkins (literally), to Biome Dioramas, to Latin American country projects, your students have been learning so much and showing how much they are growing as young scholars. I am so proud of them and you should be proud of them too!
Please be sure to read the whole newsletter. It has lots of important information. Finally, as always, be sure to subscribe to this newsletter to get it directly to your Inbox.
If you want to get an inside peek into life at the school, check the slideshows on my Google Classroom page.

It is an opportunity to receive a grant of up to $1500 per child or $3500 per family for educational expenses. Please click on the link to learn about the Strong Families, Strong Students grant. https://www.strongfamilies.idaho.gov/
- St. Mary’s Book Fair:
Check out the Book Fair Online this Year! Every purchase helps add new books to our new library. Our home page link is: https://www.scholastic.com/bf/stmarysschool46
- 8th Grade Citrus Sale:
Each year the 8th graders go on a 3-day retreat to the Monastery of St. Gertrude. We are not sure what our world will look like in May but the hope is we can still go. We are raising funds to keep the hope alive! If we don’t go to St. Gertrude’s the money will be used to help with the West Side project and possibly a retreat locally enjoying the great outdoors. Please show your support by purchasing fresh fruit for you, your family, and friends to enjoy over the holidays! To place your order online, simply click on the link below:https://www.floridaindianrivergroves.com/ecommerce/1020991After placing your online order, you will receive a receipt for your purchase via email. Wisdom from Our Young Scholars:
- One of our second-grade students was looking into my office and said, “Mr. Olmes, your office looks really different than what it does on Prayer Square!” I guess my CGI and green screen skills are quite advanced. HA!
