Week in Review:
Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
What a wonderful end to the week! Not only have we had a week packed full of fun activities, we just reached our Penny Challenge goal of $700. The generosity of our students and families has allowed our school to donate enough money to the St. Vincent de Paul Society to get 10 Thanksgiving boxes for local families in need. Thank you all for being so generous! Because of the hard work and generosity of the students and their families, we will have a week of Free Dress after Thanksgiving (except Mass Day on Wednesday)!
Our school week started with a fun performance from the Treasure Valley Children’s Theater where all of our students were treated to a fun and interactive performance about Noah, the Flood, a Unicorn, a Dragon, and a Minotaur. We then had an awesome School with Fr. John and the 3rd graders leading us in worship. We have closed out the week with lots of fun outside on the field and lots of smiles.
As we approach my favorite holiday of the year, I want to say thank you to so many people in our community. Thank you to our amazing PTO, who works so hard to help our school grow and bring our community together with awesome events. Thank you to our School Advisory Board who works side by side with the school to drive progress, change, and advocate for the needs of our families. Thank you to Fr. John and our wonderful parish staff who always puts the needs of the school at the top of their list and help us in so many ways. Thank you to our dedicated school staff who always go above and beyond for our students and their families. Finally, thank you parents and families for allowing us to be a part of your amazing children’s life and faith journey. We are grateful for this opportunity, and we love having you in our community.
I wish you all a blessed and restful week ahead. May your days be filled with good food, lots of time with friends and families, and time to rest and unwind. Happy Thanksgiving, and may the Dallas Cowboys be victorious!
God Bless,
Brian

Wisdom from Our Young Scholars:
- I was joking with some third graders and asked them what they brought ME for lunch. One of the girls responded, “I brought a nothing casserole that you can have!” I just started laughing. How witty!!!
