Week in Review:
Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
It has been a whirlwind last two weeks, our school has had so many reasons to celebrate and be proud to be a member of St. Mary’s Catholic School. Our First Grade class recently led our School Mass and did an incredible job with the readings and the offertory. We celebrated and recognized a large group of students who demonstrated in a particular way the Fruit of the Holy Spirit: LOVE. Mr. Campanella, led our school in an exciting, loud, and spirit-filled Pep Rally to get our 7th and 8th Grade COED basketball teams ready for the highly competitive Hallisey Basketball Tournament. During the recent Hallisey Basketball Tournament, our 7th Grade COED team found their groove and worked hard to earn 3rd place in a very talented bracket. Last week, our school had our annual Shrove Tuesday Celebration where we buried our Alleluias in preparation for the season of Lent, and then we celebrated Ash Wednesday at Holy Mass. During all of these activities, we still found lots of time for smiling, laughing, playing, and creating beautiful pieces of art. St. Mary’s Catholic School is an amazing place for staff, students, and their families, and it is these things that make me grateful to be a part of this community!

Wisdom from Our Young Scholars:
- When one of our middle school students asked another student why they weren’t chasing a ball during kickball, the girl replied, “I have a lot going on in my life right now!” When I heard her say that, I couldn’t stop laughing. We have some pretty witty students!
