Week in Review:
Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Happy Friday everyone, we made it! It has been a great week at our school and our students have been super engaged in the various learning activities. I really appreciate the constant smiles, waves, and positivity from our students. As I sometimes feel the winter doldrums, I am quickly snapped out of them by the energy of our students. It is so fun to see them in action, and I am happy to share what they are doing in their classes through my weekly slideshow. If you haven’t looked at it yet, be sure to check it out via my Google Classroom page.
This week was eventful. On Tuesday we had our Valentine’s Day parties and finished the day with our wonderful Shrove Tuesday ceremony. A big thanks to Mrs. Bernal and Horrocks for organizing and leading this event and making it special for our school. On Wednesday we had a special Ash Wednesday Mass with Fr. John and he reminded us all to reflect on our thoughts, words, and actions because they shape our character and often determine our future. Such wise words to remember and reflect upon. And yesterday, we had some little chicks hatch in our PreK classroom, and our students were able to watch the whole process! So exciting!
Please be sure to read the whole newsletter. It has lots of important information. Finally, as always, be sure to subscribe to this newsletter to get it directly to your Inbox.
If you want to get an inside peek into life at the school, check the slideshows on my Google Classroom page.
