Week in Review:
Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Happy Sunny Friday! As I sit here typing, I see the rays of light starting to cover the North End and Boise is waking up. In our wonderful school, our students are busy working to grow as young scholars, and our teachers are actively working with the students to help them learn and grow. Today, like every day, growth is active and visible. Not only are we working to grow as learners, growing as friends, stewards and disciples is also evident and important. I also wanted to give a big shout out to our Middle School Math teacher, Mrs. Russell for winning an Idaho CapEd grant for her math classes. She will be using the funds to buy graphing calculators and movement trackers to help students be able to show and graph physical movement. Talk about real world applications!
Finally, I want to say THANK YOU to our amazing PTO, in particular our Ball and Auction Coordinators Sarah Brown and Christian Cuevas. They along with the rest of the PTO and many volunteers have made this event and fundraiser such a success. They set a lofty goal for this year and we are just a few dollars away from meeting the goal of raising $125,000! This has set a new record for this event, and I am SO grateful to you all who have been such big supporters of the school. You can still get on the auction site and give a last minute donation, so be sure to hop on and help us meet that goal. https://sweetheartsoiree.afrogs.org/#/index
In this three day weekend, be sure to take for family and friends. Those closest to us are so important and they help love, sustain, and support us each day. Pray for them and show them how important they are and how much you love them. Have a great weekend!
God Bless,
Brian

- Do you need to complete more volunteer hours???:
All families are required to give 25 volunteer hours to the school. We will be running our reports and sharing with families in the near future. Unfulfilled service hours will be charged to the family account at a rate of $25 per hour as per our school handbook. You still have time to complete AND log those hours. Currently, the school would love to have volunteers to help with Morning Recess, Lunch, and Lunch Recess. If you are interested in helping with these, please contact the school. Remember, all families are required to give 25 volunteer hours per year. This is a fun and easy way to get those hours in. - School Lunches:
If you are interested in ordering lunch or milk for your child, please click HERE and follow the instructions. If you have questions, don’t hesitate to contact the school.

Wisdom from Our Young Scholars:
- Kindergarten was working on the Word of the Day (It). As students shared how to use the word in a sentence, one of the young boy in the class raised his hand and said, “IT needs more style!” When asked what he meant by it, he said, “You know, more cool!” Hilarious! Our kids are AWESOME!
