Week in Review:
Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
So, the tryptophan has worn off and the Cowboys made me cry (again). However, my spirits were lifted on Monday morning by seeing your amazing children back in school and doing their best to grow and develop as young men and women of God. We have also embraced the Advent season by reading the book, The Shepherd on the Search. It has been wonderful reading about this Advent journey and we have been singing the Advent song each day as a school.
In this Advent season, it is so important to remind ourselves of the blessings in our lives and express gratitude to those who have helped and supported us in our journey called life. I am incredibly blessed to be a part of such a loving and supportive school community and I can’t tell you all how much your presence, positive words and, and support of our school means to me. I am also grateful for the incredible teachers and staff members of our school who work so hard to help your children maximize their potential. The phrase, “teamwork makes the dream work”, is so true and alive here at St. Mary’s. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
Please be sure to read the whole newsletter. It has lots of important information. Finally, as always, be sure to subscribe to this newsletter to get it directly to your Inbox.
If you want to get an inside peek into life at the school, check the slideshows on my Google Classroom page.

Wisdom from Our Young Scholars:
- When visiting our PreK class, one of the students looked me straight in the eye and said, “You be sure to give your momma a big hug from me!” I almost died laughing!
- When I asked one of our 5th graders what happened when she came down for a new mask after her’s broke. “My mask bailed on me!”
- In a discussion about Noah and the size of his ark that God instructed him to build, a first grader raised her hand and said, ”I have a question. Did God have to draw a picture of the ark on a piece of paper to figure this all out before he told Noah?” Hilarious!
