Week in Review:
Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Oh come, Oh come, Emanuel; Jesus is born! Merry Christmas to all of you! It is an incredible feeling to reflect on the fact that we have just finished the first semester of this year. What an incredible blessing it has been so far. Our students have worked so hard this year, and with help from their teachers, have grown as young scholars and children of God. There have been so many examples of collaboration, creativity, and meaningful learning experiences in our classes this semester. I would encourage you to look through the various slideshows on my Google Classroom page to get an inside look. Since my last newsletter, lots has been happening in our school. On December 14th, Mr. Peters and our students treated us to an incredible night of singing, music, and lots of smiles and laughs (See my Slideshow for pictures and videos). On December 18th and 21st, our students and parents put on the school performance of “La Pastorela”. It was an incredible demonstration of the Christmas narrative delivered through the Mexican tradition of La Pastorela. A huge THANK YOU goes out to Liliana Tena and Amaya Eiguren, who helped make this performance so special for our students and school community. On December 22nd, our school was treated to a short concert by the Bishop Kelly Band and led by Mr. Peters. Finally, the construction of our soccer mini-pitch is in full swing and looks to be entering its final phase! It truly was a wonderful end to the semester and a great way to close out 2021. As we take time away during this break, I pray that all of you are filled with the peace, love, and joy of the Christmas season and that God continues to bless your family. I am so grateful for all of you, and I am so blessed to be a part of such an incredible school and parish community. May you all have a restful break, and I will see you all soon!
