Week in Review:
Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Watching the snowfall today was a good reminder that even though COVID is causing challenges in our lives, little things like snow help remind us that Christmas is right around the corner and we are called to be filled with joyful anticipation for this incredible feast day. Also, when I look at our school’s Angel Tree with all of the gifts that our amazing students and you families purchased, it reminds me of how much joy, kindness, and love our school has. Thinking of and helping others when our lives are stressful and challenging, is exactly what Jesus calls us to do each and every day. Thank you for constantly reminding me and the others in this building what this season of Advent is all about.
As we move into the last week of the 2nd quarter and 1st semester, I have shared with my teachers to continue their communication with you all regarding the progress of your students in school this quarter. I also ask you to take some time to look at your child’s grades and reach out to their teacher if you have any questions. Consistent communication only helps us have a better school family relationship and helps us maximize your student’s potential.
Please be sure to read the whole newsletter. It has lots of important information. Finally, as always, be sure to subscribe to this newsletter to get it directly to your Inbox.

Need to Know:
- The 300 x 300 Campaign:
This event has started with a BANG! We are almost at the $40,000 mark with our current donations! This has been hugely successful so far, but we are still trying to hit our goal of $90,000. This important event is so important to the financial stability of St. Mary’s. If you want to read more about the campaign, click HERE. You can also give directly to the school by clicking on the following link: https://www.stmarys-boise.org. Look for the red DONATE button in the center of the page to contribute.
Nice to Know:
- Where is Mr. Olmes’ weekly slideshow???
If you are wanting to see this week’s and the past weekly slideshows, you need to access my Google Classroom page. All of the students in school should have been added and/or invited to my Google Classroom. Once you are in my Classroom, look at my “Stream” and you will see links for each of the weekly slideshows. When you click on them, it will direct you to an album where you can see all of the neat things happening at the school.
