Week in Review:
Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
We have once again been blessed with a wonderful week at St. Mary’s. It was so great to see all of our amazing students working hard with their teachers and classmates. This week we had to make some adjustments to our Back to School Night event and move it to a virtual platform, so be on the lookout for a video from your student(s)’ teacher along with their weekly newsletter. Although we had to cancel the in-person Back to School Night, we look forward to the possibility of being able to have an Open House in the near future.
I also want to say thank you to our students who have been so diligent in helping us with our new procedures and protocols for hand washing/sanitizing, physical distancing, and wearing masks. I know it has been an adjustment, and we appreciate their cooperation. In order for all of the work we do in our school to keep the environment clean and safe, it is only possible from continued reinforcement by our families. It is critical that families also model safe practices to minimize the risk of exposure outside of the school by following the recommendations of CDH and the CDC. Practices such as wearing a face covering, physical distancing, and avoiding large gatherings helps us achieve this goal. I realize that we all have made changes and sacrifices to our daily lives, but please know that we are doing this so that our school can stay open and our students can come to school and be successful for the entire school year. Please help us in our ongoing goal. Teamwork makes the dream work!
As we move into this third week of school, I pray that our Heavenly Father will continue to bless and watch over you in your lives. May you all, through his grace, grow closer to him and each other during these times.
Continue to stay plugged in by looking at the weekly slideshow. I have included NEW directions on how to access the slideshow in my weekly email.

PTO Corner:
- School Lunches: The PTO is partnering with 3 Girls Catering to bring delicious, healthy meals to our school. After Labor Day, lunch will be available to order on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. If there is a need/desire to increase the lunch availability, we will work with the catering company to pursue this option. If you would like to order lunch, you will need to be complete the online order form and payment by Wednesday for the following week. Each day will offer a main meal (these include items like grilled chicken wraps, burritos, hamburgers on house made buns and so much more). You will then be able to add on items including a side dish, veggies, fruit and dessert! Plus there is a GLUTEN FREE and VEGETARIAN option each day!Until Labor Day, the menu may look strange because our kids are only in school 2 days a week! You will want to order either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday. If you have any questions please email Meghan Goodwin at meghan_goodwin13@hotmail.com SUBJECT- LUNCH ORDER.See the link below.
