Week in Review:
Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Happy Easter! It is so wonderful to be able to celebrate such a joyous feast day all week and carry this Joy throughout the entire Easter season. We are clearly seeing this joy in our school this week and it is evident from the positive energy that I have seen every day from our students. On Wednesday, we were able to sing a belated Happy Birthday to Fr. John, and today, our older students serenaded Fr. Jesus from the parking lot for his recent birthday. Inside the school, our classes have been doing such neat things. From the PreK’s creation of a Komodo Dragon to the beautiful 7th Grade Alfombra, students have been really getting into the daily schoolwork. I also want to say thank you to our incredible teachers who are always pushing themselves to find meaningful, creative, and engaging lessons and activities to keep our students focused on learning and growing.
Please be sure to read the whole newsletter. It has lots of important information. Finally, as always, be sure to subscribe to this newsletter to get it directly to your Inbox.

Need to Know:
- Open Enrollment for 2021-2022:
Open Enrollment is here! We are currently in the Open Enrollment window for ALL families (new and current). Classes are filling up fast and a few are at or very close to being full. That being said, don’t wait to register your students for the upcoming school year. If you need help with registration fees, please contact the school, and we can create a payment plan for you. - St. Mary’s Catholic School Parish Support Application:
St. Mary’s Catholic School has three different tuition rates. In order to appropriately bill families for the upcoming school year, the school has implemented a verification process to show IF a family should be charged less than the base (Highest) tuition rate. Each year families are asked to complete the St. Mary’s Catholic School Parish Support Application if you feel that your tuition should be one of the two lower tuition rates. You can access this application by clicking HERE. When you have completed the application, it must be signed by your parish and turned in to the school by June 4, 2021. PLEASE NOTE: If you do NOT submit a Parish Support Application, your family’s tuition rate will be the base (Highest) tuition rate. To see the tuition rates for the 2021-2022 school year, please click HERE.
Nice to Know:
- Financial Aid for the 2021-2022 School Year:
If you are looking to apply for Financial Aid for the upcoming school year, please click HERE to learn how to apply and see the Financial Aid timeline. Also, if you have any questions about Financial Aid, please contact the school. - Where is Mr. Olmes’ weekly slideshow???
If you are wanting to see this week’s and the past weekly slideshows, you need to access my (Mr. Olmes’) Google Classroom page. All of the students in school should have been added and/or invited to my Google Classroom. Once you are in my Classroom, look at my “Stream” and you will see links for each of the weekly slideshows. When you click on them, it will direct you to an album where you can see all of the neat things happening at the school.

Wisdom from Our Young Scholars:
- Not a quote, but a great story. I was out saying hi to the PreK students today and one young girl came up to me and gave me a dandelion. Within seconds, I had dandelions from multiple students and quickly had a beautiful yellow bouquet. I was such a genuine expression of joy and happiness from those little angles. I am truly blessed to be able to interact with such amazing young children
