Week in Review:
Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
The sun is out as well as the flowers! It has been a beautiful week here at St. Mary’s. Our whole school community has been enjoying this last week and getting prepared for the last month of school. In these last weeks, there are lots of things going at the various grades. One of the whole school events that will be taking place in the next two weeks is our formal Spring MAP assessments. The teachers in grades K-8 should be letting you know about this testing as well as your student. These assessments are valuable tools in showing the growth of your student over the course of the year.
Please be sure to read the whole newsletter. It has lots of important information. Finally, as always, be sure to subscribe to this newsletter to get it directly to your Inbox.
If you want to get an inside peek into life at the school, check the slideshows on my Google Classroom page.
Need to Know:
- St. Mary’s Summer Camp:
We are excited to be having a small summer camp opportunity for current K-4th Grade students. Please click HERE to access the flyer and registration form for the Summer Camp in June. We will also be sending a hard copy home with the K-4th Grade students. Please fill out the form and return it with payment to the main office to secure your spot for this summer’s camp. Space is limited so act fast! - St. Mary’s Catholic School Parish Support Application:
St. Mary’s Catholic School has three different tuition rates. In order to appropriately bill families for the upcoming school year, the school has implemented a verification process to show IF a family should be charged less than the base (Highest) tuition rate. Each year families are asked to complete the St. Mary’s Catholic School Parish Support Application if you feel that your tuition should be one of the two lower tuition rates. You can access this application by clicking HERE. When you have completed the application, it must be signed by your parish and turned in to the school by June 4, 2021. PLEASE NOTE: If you do NOT submit a Parish Support Application, your family’s tuition rate will be the base (Highest) tuition rate. To see the tuition rates for the 2021-2022 school year, please click HERE.

All of the students in school should have been added and/or invited to my Google Classroom. Once you are in my Classroom, look at my “Stream” and you will see links for each of the weekly slideshows. Wisdom from Our Young Scholars:
- When one of our PreK students was sharing their thoughts on Mr. Olmes, the student said, “When a cone gets stuck under a car, Mr. Olmes fixes it!” Well, I just had to laugh at that one and realized that they are very observant at afternoon pick-up!
