Dear St. Mary’s Families,
What a blessing to be part of the quaint and close knit St. Mary’s community! Last Wednesday the third graders hosted a lovely prayer service. Thursday, we had the most adorable incoming kindergarteners attend a Kindergarten Round Up and Screening. Friday, the whole school enjoyed a pep rally hosted by the Student Council to inspire students to do their best on the upcoming MAP test. It was a fun week!
I want to remind everyone that there will be no school this Friday, April 28th. Our Staff Development Days have been so valuable for our faculty and staff. During our time together we are able to collaborate to enhance programs and policies for our school. We appreciate the time we have together and utilize it to its fullest.
Here are a few things that are just around the corner:
- April 24th-May 5th- MAP Testing. Please avoid scheduling appointments or trips during this time. Thank you.
- April 28th- No School/ Professional Development Day for Staff
- May 1st-5th- Teacher Appreciation Week!
- May 2nd- Spring Program 6 pm in the church. Students should arrive between 5:35-5:45 pm and will meet in their classrooms
- May 7th- PTO sponsored End of School Celebration 5-7 pm. Click HERE to volunteer!
A Note from PTO President, Ellen Tillotson: We need two specific Auction volunteers- Auction Chair (this person is in charge of general planning of the Auction) and Auction Procurement Chair (this person works on item donations).
Blessings to you for the week ahead!
