Happy Easter Monday!
I hope you had a beautiful Easter Sunday filled with joy!
Last week was full of special moments. Kindergarten blessed our school by leading us at Prayer Square for the first time this year. We celebrated the birthdays of our beloved priests, Fr. John and Fr. Camacho. Eighth grade did a lovely job hosting Mass which included the Baptism of Mrs. Geile’s young son, Colin. Third quarter Christian Leaders were honored at Mass and at a reception with families following Mass. Wednesday afternoon our eighth graders shared a thoughtful and reverent portrayal of the Stations of the Cross. Thursday, our classes reflected on the events of the Last Supper and we prepared ourselves for the upcoming Good Friday, Easter Vigil, and finally Easter. The week was filled with loving tributes!
As we continue our Easter celebrations, I am looking forward to the special events and opportunities for learning we have to come. Over the next couple of weeks, teachers will be reviewing skills with their classes in preparation for the MAP test. Join me in encouraging our students to finish strong in the remaining weeks of school!
Please consider attending the school-led Mass at the church next Sunday, April 16th at 10:45 am. It is an opportunity for our school and parish communities to celebrate together and our new pastor will be announced!
Enjoy the week. We are truly blessed.
Fondly,
Merrideth
