Dear Parents,
October is upon us. There is much to do at school and at home. Thank you for your continued support of St. Mary’s and its school community. Please be sure to check the calendar frequently to see what is happening.
Thank you to the School Board for sponsoring coffee this morning before Mass. The school board does a tremendous job working with the school to set priorities and objectives for the current and future years.
Boise Favorites – St. Mary’s Catholic School has been nominated as one of Boise’s Favorite Private Schools. The Boise Favorites run in the Idaho Statesman and other publications throughout the year. Winners of Boise Favorites get a free listing in a full color magazine and on on their website. Voting runs from October 7th through October 25th. Spartan Run– The Spartan Run fundraising is less than two weeks away. Students may gather pledges via their personal website https://app.99pledges.

Prizes for pledges achieved are as follows: $20 Spartan sticker, $50 fun dip candy, $100/family Free Dress Coupon

Please share the pledge URL with aunts, uncles, grandparents, cousins, second cousins, and any other distant relative interested in supporting the St. Mary’s Spartans. Last year we not only raised a record amount, every student was able to secure at least one donation. We have our sights set on another year of 100% participation.
BK Game – October 11, 2024 – Bishop Kelly is graciously inviting all partner school students to the football game this Friday evening at 7:00 pm. All St. Mary’s students with paying adult are admitted for free. Go Knights!
Parent/Teacher Conferences– This week or early next you should receive an invitation to Parent/Teacher Conferences on October 24th. It is nice to be prepared for Parent-Teacher conferences – Here is an article to help
Please volunteer to help with Spartan Run and Trunk or Treat – St. Mary’s special events need everyone’s help. If you have time to help, please check the link to participate. Volunteering is fun and social. Find some friends and sign up together.
Diamonds and Denim – February 8th– In the very near future you will begin seeing more information about the Diamonds and Denim Gala. We would like each family to begin thinking about potential donations from you, friends or companies that may be able to enhance the overall experience and the auction. If you know of anything, please contact the school or our Gala chair, Kristen Colter at auction@stmarys-boise.org

Traffic pattern – The new design of the parking lot is terrific, but it has caused some delays or confusion at drop off and pick up. For simplicity sake, please refer to the attached screen print for our preferred traffic flow.

Mexican Dance -Gloria Munoz, parish office, holds Mexican dance class on Wednesdays. All ages are welcome to attend. Their potential performance dates are:
