Welcome back from Spring Break. I hope you had the opportunity to rest, relax, and recharge.
The teachers finalized 3rd quarter grades. Please access the students report card through FACTS Family Portal.
The 4th quarter is always busy. Please be sure to keep an eye on the school calendar to plan accordingly. I will do my best to let you know what is happening through the weekly newsletter.
PI Day Success!!
Thank you to Mrs. Russell and all the student and parent volunteers for making Pi Day a huge success. Through your collective efforts, St. Mary’s set another record of $3,208 raised. We will use the funds to further invest in STEM programs for use during and after school.
Report Cards – Third Quarter
Report cards for the third quarter are available through FACTS Family Portal. Once logged in, please click on the Student tab, then the Report Card tab. Please let Mandy know if you have trouble accessing them.
We are fine tuning our school calendar for next year. It is complete as far as start date, holidays, teacher in-services, and graduation. Please take a look to get a head start on your planning for 2025-26.

Aspiring Artists Kindergarten through 5th graders
After School Art Program – Young Rembrandts
St. Mary’s is excited to be offering an after school program for our aspiring artists. Beginning Monday, March 31 from 3:30-4:30, we will be offering an art class through Young Rembrandts. The course focuses on the Power of Drawing. Our very own Miss Heffner is going to be heading up the class to mold and shape our future creators. The course is designed for students in Grade K-5.
After class, students are welcome to join Club Spartan (Aftercare)

St. Mary’s has enjoyed a wonderful STEM club this year. The Spartaneers have competed in Lego Robotics and worked in 3D Printing. For the last quarter, they will be focusing on DRONES! – Flights and missions will be the emphasis through the end of the year. Please use the link above to register.
Math Literacy Night – April 16, 2025
Mrs. Russell will be hosting a Math Literacy evening on April 16, 2025 from 6:30-7:30. Please see the link for more information including a detailed schedule for the night’s events. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about what is happening in math classes, but also ideas to continue to move forward in the summer months.
St. Mary’s community likes to support each other. Our community is full of many terrific individuals who contribute to our greater community and St. Mary’s through their businesses and careers. - Nurse’s Information – Measles
- Gala update – The Diamonds and Denim Gala was a huge success. The PTO was able to raise approximately $145,000 after expenses. This is a terrific year. Thank you to Kristen Colter, Sarah Brown, the rest of the PTO and all the volunteers for a wildly successful evening. Additionally, thank you to our corporate sponsors who greatly added to the event’s success.
- Boise with Kids– Becca Bailey, Boise with Kids, visited St. Mary’s. Her profile of St. Mary’s captured the essence of our school. Her Boise with Kids online group was created to help families find fun and appropriate activities throughout the Treasure Valley. I encourage you to sign up for their newsletters. Click on the link to view her reel of St. Mary’s. Boise with Kids – St. Mary’s Reel – So far, the reel has been viewed 7700+ times.
- Looking for a Summertime Nanny – Sarah Crouch, St. Mary’s class of 2020, Bishop Kelly class of 2024, is looking to work as a nanny this summer. She is finishing her freshman year at Tulane University in New Orleans. If you are looking for a nanny this summer or if you know of someone who is, please contact Mandy at the office and she will pass along Sarah’s contact information.
