What a fantastic Catholic Schools Week! Thank you for your ongoing support and encouragement. Our students have been embracing the extra activities while working hard in the classroom.
There will be quite a bit of activity at and around school for the next few months. Most immediate dates to be aware of:
- Feb 1 – Open House 10:00-12:00
- Feb 1 – Open Registration – Existing Families – (Early Bird thru 3/1)
- Feb 10 – Mardi Gras Gala – Purchase your Tuition Raffle Tickets – See Below
- Feb 15 – Open Registration – New Families (Early Bird thru 3/1)
Please know, you are always welcome at Prayer Square, Weekly Mass as well as any time you would like to join us at school.
Important Upcoming events:
- Catholic Schools Week – January 29 – February 1 – It has been a great week. We have enjoyed crazy socks, career panels, all schools mass, family picnic, open house and many more fun activities. Most importantly, our students were asked to think about all the people that make St. Mary’s possible. Showing gratitude is the key to a happy life.
- Registration and Tuition – Registration opens for existing families February 1. Thank you to all the families who shared their thoughts and feedback. We appreciate hearing your ideas. For information sent last week about dates and rates – click HERE
- Open House – St. Mary’s is hosting an open house with school tours on Thursday, February 1st. Please share with all your friends and other acquaintances the wonderful opportunities St. Mary’s has to offer.
- Mardi Gras Gala website has a plethora of information. Our Tuition Raffle is available to anyone, as long as they are an Idaho resident, to put towards tuition at whatever school they desire. There are a limited number of tickets, so please get yours and encourage others to do the same. . Please bookmark the following link for ongoing access to the event information.
- Annual Hallissey Invitational will be February 23-25. All 7th and 8th graders are encouraged to play for the Spartans in this fun and unique basketball tournament. More information coming from Mrs. Sullivan.
- Bishop Kelly Lady Knights Basketball – The Bishop Kelly Lady Knights are closing their regular season tonight at Bishop Kelly – They are asking to make it a Pink Out
- Bishop Kelly – Parent Education – Bishop Kelly is hosting a parent education night, February 20 at 6:30 pm in their cafeteria. Guest speakers include Officer Gomez and Dr. Gudmundsen speaking on Social Media and Teen Mental Health

- Spartan Fund – St. Mary’s is incredibly grateful to all the families who graciously donated to the school scholarship fund over the past few weeks. St. Mary’s uses the dollars donated to the Spartan Fund to aid our students in pursuit of a high quality Catholic education. St. Mary’s Spartan Fund is available year-round for contributions, whether that be lump sum or monthly. Thank you again.
