Why Uniforms?
Our dress code is an integral part of life at St. Mary’s School. We find that our dress code minimizes the socioeconomic differences between students. Uniforms allow student focus to be properly placed on respect for one another. With one less distraction, students are better able to concentrate on learning and participating in class. Wearing the St. Mary’s School uniform fosters school spirit and contributes to an overall sense of belonging.
For parents, we find school uniforms take a little pressure off of the household budget and makes it easier to get children out the door in the morning.
Uniform Policy
The St. Mary’s School dress code policy is a product of the collaboration between teachers, parents, students, and the principal. We strive to provide enough comfort and variety that our students don’t feel stifled.
