St. Mary’s Advisory Board is comprised of members who donate their time and expertise to help guide the school in important decisions and business strategy. The board reaches their decisions through consensus and prayerful discernment and welcomes feedback from the St. Mary’s community.
Board Composition
The board bylaws mandate that the board be comprised of members with and without children enrolled at St. Mary’s. Two seats are reserved for members without children at St. Mary’s and two seats are reserved for members with children enrolled at St. Mary’s. Three additional seats can be held by members who have children enrolled or do not have children enrolled. We strive to have a well-rounded board with members from a variety of cultures and background, which include business, management, education, law, finance, marketing, and more.
Board Terms
Each board appointment is for a 2 year term and the appointment can be renewed at the discretion of the pastor. We are always looking for talented board members who are willing to share their time and talent with St. Mary’s. Meetings
Most meetings are open to all teachers, parents, and parishioners. Advisory board meeting times and dates are posted on the school calendar.
