Weekly Newsletter – November 15, 2024
Dear Parents,
Thank you for all your support and engagement during the past few weeks. We have had many successful events. It is truly a blessing to work in a community with engaged and involved families.
Veterans’ Day – Thank you for coming to honor our Veterans. Thank you to the PTO for the help with coffee and pastries.
St. Mary’s Book Fair – A very special “Thank you” to Janielle Beason and all of the volunteers who helped make our book fair a huge success. Thank you for your contributions to the cause to fill the classroom libraries as well as some of your personal libraries.
Festival of Trees – Diamonds and Denim – November 27th – Thank you to everyone who donated to our denim cause. Miss Hailey has been working away to create a once in a lifetime Christmas tree experience. Please plan on attending the Festival of Trees – Wednesday, November 27 – Sunday, December 1. Our very own Mexican Dance Group will be performing at 10:00 am Wednesday, November 27th.
Building Committee – A number of weeks ago, many of you had the opportunity to participate in a strategic planning session regarding the future state of the school building and the campus. Linked is a letter that went to the parish. The letter includes links and QR codes if you have additional ideas you would like to contribute.
Altar Serving – Thank you to everyone who has expressed interest in Altar serving over the weekends. We encourage everyone to consider the opportunity. It is an exceptional way to live out our commitment to being stewards of our community. If you are interested, we can always use more Altar servers at every Mass.
TVCS Activities – Families of 6th, 7th and 8th graders – TVCS Ski and Snowboarding Club is set to begin in January. Please see the linked document if your student is interested in participating. Be on the lookout for information about 7th and 8th Grade Boys Basketball soon.
