Dear Families,
What a great week it has been at St. Mary’s. From honoring our veterans to enjoying our Spartan Run and becoming Math literate, things have been exciting. We truly appreciate your support and engagement.
Fr. John shared a very important message today at Mass. He reminded us to work at being grateful. Being grateful leads us to finding joy in life and joy in each other.
In support of our Stewardship learning objective, our big challenge is: How can you be a steward at home? With Thanksgiving around the corner, our students are encouraged to find ways to take care of things at home and express gratitude towards all their gifts.

Saturday, December 2 – Cornhole Tournament – Darn your ugliest Christmas sweater and join the competition. This is a first-time fundraiser/tournament sponsored by the PTO. Whatever your current skill level might be, there is a division for you. Concessions, games, drinks, music, and raffle will be part of the fun. Bags fly at High Noon!

Mardi Gras Gala – February 10, 2024 – Save the date for the social event of the year. Tickets will be available soon. We still have a few volunteer positions available if you have the time. Please use the following link – Volunteer

Spartan Race, November 10 – Thank you to Jackie Schubert, the parent volunteers and all the students and teachers for a wildly successful Spartan Run. Collectively, the school brought in $12,890 in donations as of today. Thank you one and all.

BK Football, Friday, Nov 17 – Our BK Knights have made the State Football Finals. The Knights next game is Friday, November 17th at 7:00 at Albertson Stadium on the campus of Boise State University. Go cheer on the Knights as they take on the Hillcrest Knights. Tickets must be pre-bought using this link – TICKETS – Some specifics about attending the game:

Bishop Kelly fans enter through the East Gate at Albertsons Stadium. (Closest to Broadway Ave.)

Boise State University has a clear bag policy. Fans may bring one CLEAR plastic or vinyl bag, package or container that does not exceed 12 x 6 x 12 inches; a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag; or a purse, bag or clutch no larger than 4.5 x 6.5 inches.

No heaters or umbrellas are allowed in the stadium.

There is a NO readmission policy. If fans leave Albertsons Stadium they will not be allowed to reenter without purchasing a new ticket.

Math Literacy Night – Thank you to Mrs. Russell, the teachers, the student volunteers and the families for making this a very successful evening.

Christmas Music Program – Tuesday, December 5th at 6:00pm in our Church, Pre-k through 3rd, plus Bands and Choir

St. Mary’s Religious Education is offering Whole Family Religious Education this year. It is open to all families of all ages looking to enrich their faith as a family unit. The next scheduled meeting day is November 19th at 4:30
