Dear Parents,
Next week we have Parent-Teacher conferences on October 26 and 27. We are sending out our proposed schedule on Tuesday or Wednesday of this week. If you are unable to make it, please feel free to contact the teachers directly if you have questions or concerns. You are free to contact me as well if you have questions or suggestions about school in general. We welcome you at all times.
Parent-Teacher conferences are a great time for us to touch base to support our students in their growth and progress. Below are some articles that can help you and the teachers prepare for Parent-Teacher conferences. The articles all have some similarities including:
- Talk to your child before and after conferences
- Bring a list of questions you would like to ask the teacher
- Questions should not be limited to academic issues, they can be concerning social and emotional growth
- Collaboration between the families and school is key to helping students realize their potential
We are all here to make sure our students are receiving an exceptional, Catholic education in support of the school’s mission:
St. Mary’s School is to provide a Catholic environment that instills academic excellence while preparing the whole child for life-long personal and spiritual growth, empowering them to become global citizens.
