Dear St. Mary’s Families,
Last week the first grade class hosted a school wide prayer each day and led the school Mass on Wednesday. Concluding Mass, representatives from each grade took turns reading parts of a poem created as a retirement gift for Fr. John Worster. The poem was created by Miss Hailey using a compilation of “our favorite remembrances of Fr. John”, gathered together by the whole student body. In addition, Fr. John was also given a collage created using ideas from the entire student body. It was a very special service.
Last Saturday, many of our second grade students received the Sacrament of Holy Communion at Mass. It was an honor to share in such a special occasion. Thank you to Mrs. Allegra Osti for an outstanding job preparing our communicants!
