Week in Review:
Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Week 1 of Advent was amazing, and we are looking forward to Week 2. At our school’s morning Prayer Square, we are treated to beautiful Advent prayers and reflections led by our students as well as our daily singing of the Advent song and lighting of the Advent wreath. Preparing for the coming of Christmas is a powerful time for our students to reflect on the mysteries of Advent and Christmas and discuss how these times can bring us closer to our LORD. In the week ahead, we will continue our Advent and Christmas preparations by participating in the Sacrament of Reconciliation and celebrating one of the great feast days of our Church: The Feast of the Immaculate Conception. Our mother Mary was the perfect disciple and by following her example, we can move forward in our faith journey and draw cooler to Jesus Christ. Please be sure to read the entire newsletter as there are lots of important pieces of information. May God continue to bless you during this season and draw you closer to His loving Heart.
God Bless,
Brian
