Week in Review:
Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Thank the Lord for cooler weather and rain! It has been a wonderful week here at St. Mary’s and full of smiles, learning, and play. Once again, our students (5th grade) did an amazing job of helping with our School Mass. Taking an active part in our faith’s ultimate form of worship is a deep and meaningful experience. I am grateful and amazed at how well our teachers prepare their students to make our School Mass so special.
Another fun part of the week was seeing Buddy Time in action. Our teachers work hard to pair students with each other to make the Buddy program a positive and meaningful experience for both the younger and older students. Seeing 8th graders read to their 1st grade Buddies is just one example of how wonderful this program is and how much joy and excitement it brings to all of the students. Please talk to your child about their Buddy and how this program is affecting them at school.
In the weeks ahead, we have lots going on at school. Please be sure to reach your teacher’s newsletter and the schoolwide newsletter. Please read all the way to the bottom because it has a lot of important information. As always, if there is anything that we can do here at school to make the entire learning experience better, please let us know.
See you all at Prayer Square!
