Week in Review:
Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! Before anything, I want to give a major shout-out and a huge THANK YOU to our amazing PTO for making our teachers feel so loved and special this week. They surprised us with all sorts of treats and gifts and we are so grateful for their generosity and support. In addition to the PTO love, it has been a great week. Our students and their teachers are taking full advantage of the nice weather and our turf area to take the learning outside and get some sun and fresh air. On Wednesday, we had our annual May crowning ceremony where we honored the Blessed Virgin Mary with flowers, a crown lots of singing, and saying the rosary. We can and should always reach out to her for her intercession and look to her example for us in our lives. On Thursday, some of our students helped us celebrate Cinco de Mayo by performing traditional Mexican dances at our school’s Prayer Square. As we approach the end of the school year, everything speeds up and appears to be hectic. In these times, it is so important to take a step back and reflect on all of the blessings God has put into our lives.
I want to remind you of the exciting event that will be taking place on Sunday, May 15th from 3:00-6:00 pm. Our school will be hosting our Second Annual Spring Fling Art Show and Auction. This incredible event is a family affair and we encourage you all to bring your friends and family to this event. There will be lots of activities for all ages, delicious food, incredible artwork on display, and many different auction items. Please mark this date on your calendar and make sure to come to this event. It is THE social event of the Spring in the Boise area! I hope to see you all there!

Wisdom from Our Young Scholars:
- At School Mass, one of our teachers was asking a first grader to be quiet in church and this is how they responded: “Talking is one of my talents! How can I NOT share my talent with God!” Our students are SO sincere and so hilarious!
