Week in Review:
Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
We made it! The first quarter has come to an end, and I am filled with joy and gratitude. I am grateful for all of you and your amazing children! I can’t tell you how many times they have made me laugh, smile, and made me think, “WOW”! It has been a great first quarter and I am proud of everyone for making it such a great first quarter.

Need to Know:
- Parent-Teacher Conferences:
Parent-Teacher Conferences are coming up next week. Please read my Friday email to get the details about the conferences and how teachers will be notifying you about your day and timeslot. - Be Vigilant:
If you have been paying attention to the news, you will see that the COVID-19 numbers are on the rise in our area. Please be vigilant in keeping you and your family safe by doing your part. By taking the necessary steps outside of school, you help us accomplish our goal of giving your student(s) a safe and effective face-to-face learning environment. - Clean Mask and Water Bottle:
Please be sure to send your child to school with a clean water bottle and at least 2 clean masks. Student masks often become dirty or wet during the day and may need to be changed. Please be sure to send your student with two clean masks every day. We are trying to do everything we can to keep our school and our students as clean and safe as possible.

Wisdom from Our Young Scholars:
- From two of our 8th Graders: “Hey Mr. Olmes, Happy Boss’s Day!” Then they handed me a tiny jar of goatheads! I never really knew what they looked like since I am from Virginia. NOW I know!
