Week in Review:
Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
I hope the first week of Lent is treating you all well, and you have been able to maintain your Lenten sacrifices and goals. This week was another opportunity for our students and staff to learn and grow from each other. On Monday we celebrated Dr. Seuss Day and kicked off our month of March reading challenge. I hope your students are enjoying this activity, and I encourage you all to participate with them and make it a family affair. On Tuesday, our 6th-8th grade students had the wonderful opportunity to go to Bogus Basin and participate in their Snow School. It was a very hands on and fun learning experience for our students, and me! In addition to these activities, it was so great to see classes involved in a variety of interactive learning experiences.
On a separate note, I wanted to remind you all that Friday, March 20th is the end of the third quarter. I have been reminding my teachers to have their grade books updated and keeping you all informed on the progress of their students. I encourage you to check your student’s grades in Plus Portals with your parent sign-in and reach out to the teacher if there are any questions or concerns. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and are able to take some time for family, friends, and rejuvenation.
Continue to stay plugged in by looking at the weekly slideshow. You can’t help being amazed and energized by our students’ smiles and engagement in their work. Click HERE to see the photos.

Wisdom from Our Young Scholars:
- This is from one of our teachers this week. The staff was doing a creative brainstorming activity on Friday, and Mr. Olmes told the teachers they only had two minutes to finish their ideas. One of the teacher responded by shouting, “Why don’t you let us dream!” (I just started cracking up. Too funny NOT to share.)
